I’m sitting next to a toasty wood stove in this dark (by choice) room as a session I just mixed bounces down. The project was recorded in early August at our last joint with a cool folky artist named Jimbo, who was stopping in on his way to Portland, ME. He shared his charming bluesy tunes coupled with a smokey, emotional voice reminiscent of Tom Waits. The recording is intimate and provocative. I’ll ask if I can put up a clip at some point.
Off to teach some guitar lessons!
